The Hockey Obsession

I enjoy hockey, maybe too much but I do want to do sports fiction because there is just a lack of it out there to read. I have a hard time finding it in my library or any book stores. My sport is hockey just because it is a life long passion of mine. Why not incorporate this into writing?
